A love story within clashing island cultures, the set for this musical was inspired by voodoo altars of Haiti.

Full of seemingly random, found objects, each piece of the altar serves a purpose and when brought together, they make something truly magical and sentimental.

Much of this story revolves around a tree. In this design the tree trunk is made of suspended wooden chairs while its silky ribbon branches create a colorful canopy. This set also includes piles of washed up debris, black scrims, sand, and a raining water feature.
