Exhibit Designer

This nature center commissioned us to create an ADA all-persons trail. Intended to be extremely approachable and enjoyable no matter age, abilities, or comfort in nature this trail has something for everyone.

Going beyond just a visual experience, we tried to incorporate tactile elements such as a textured map and modeled river bed full of macroinvertebrates and stones, an audio interactive featuring the sounds of frogs and songbirds, and even a smelling interactive where visitors can take whiff of a beaver and a mink.

The ultimate goal of this trail was to inspire and encourage everyone to enjoy the natural world around them - no one should ever have to be excluded.
